Hi, I’m Dean — artist and founder of Lionheart Art.

My work focuses on portraiture, figure drawing, and cinematic, myth-inspired imagery that blends realism with storytelling. Each piece is part of an ongoing pursuit of mastery — shaped by discipline, patience, and intentional growth.

This portfolio represents progress in motion. The skills behind this work were earned through study, repetition, and a respect for fundamentals, not haste or shortcuts. Composition, contrast, values, edges, and form are central to everything I create, because strong foundations allow images to carry weight, clarity, and atmosphere. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, while remaining focused on the artist I’m still becoming.

While much of my recent work is digital, traditional art — especially oil painting — remains my long-term focus. As my abilities continue to develop, this site will increasingly reflect that shift. Digital pieces remain an important part of my process and storytelling, particularly within the store, and are held to the same standards of structure and intention.

Lionheart Art brings together realism, mythology, and dark-fantasy influences into a unified visual world — one shaped by strength and grace, light and shadow, struggle and resolve. Heroes rise, creatures emerge from darkness, and every image is designed to feel grounded, cinematic, and purposeful.
